Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai

I picked up this anime because I was courious how perverted will be. How to say it, if is there even small chance, that there will be incest theme, I have to try to watch it. So this was reason why I started watch this anime.

Kyousuke

With my prediction of theme of this anime I was totally wrong. There is almost no sign of incest. But it is much more better than I expected. It is funny and this anime has even some  reasonable story.

The main characters are high-schooler Kyousuke  and his younger sister Kirino. She is secret otaku(especially she loves games with cute little sisters) and nobody knows that. But one day her brother discovered hers secret. She expected, that he will laughted her, but he didn't. And this is begining of the story.

She wish to  have some frineds with who she can share her hobby, but she is also afraid of what her surroundings will think about her. So she tries to share her hobby with her brother and he is trying to understand her and help her to find friends.

I expected from this anime something crazy and full of fanservice. But here is nothing like that. There are some moments, what can be considered like fanservice, but the belonged to the story. You can even say, that the story is about "normal" relationship between siblings. I really like it and because of otaku thing, there is a lot of funny moments.

So, I recommend this anime to everyone, who is otaku and loves comedy. My ranking is 8/10 and if they will keep the story so good how was until now, I will give more in the end.

And in the end, there is my favourite sentence from this anime:

"Where in this world is there a brother who would play a game about loving a little sister with his little sister?"

Bench

MANGA

I just read the one shot manga Bench and I am quite disapointed. I was expecting something more interesting by author of Naruto.

What I was expecting?

1. More humor. There was nothing funny for me.
2. More original story. There was nothing new for me. The biggest disapointement came with the plot with glases. What a stupid conclusion?! And it is not original. I saw this plot also in some movie.
3. Better drawings - I did not get used with Kishimoto's style here. The noses of characters was too unnatural for me. And most of characters was too simple and difficuld to remember them. He forced himself to make something different from style of drawing in Naruto and he overdid it.

What I liked?

1. Character design of Ou Masayuki. This character realy has a charisma. With better nose he would be perfect :-)
2. Inspiration for second main character in Astro Boy. That was good idea to came with Atom. The shame, that he did not used it in better story.

I mean it wasn't bad manga, but also not good. My ranking is 6/10. And only because of Ou.

Bakuman

They finally got an anime :-) I was waiting long time for this show. I am reading manga regularly and I was really curious how anime will look like. It surpased all my expectations.

The main story probably everybody knows. It is about two boys named Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi, who decided to become mangakas. Before I started read Bakuman, I would never believe, that somebody can write so interesting, exciting and realistic manga about creating manga. The author is really genius.

 Why so serious? It´s not like it´s a Death Note, right?

I love author's ability self reflection. I have feeling, that he is writing about himself and artist, with who he made all previous manga and also this one. There are also references on theirs previous work and on other famous mangas and mangakas. There is so many details and they adapted them also in  this anime. I would like to tell more, what I noticed in manga, but now I am writing about anime. So I will wait till those moments will come.

Now let’s talk about anime adaptation. The drawing style of anime is almost same like in the manga. It’s great. Only thing, what should be better is bigger contrast between colors. Manga was more colorfull when it came on colorpages. Animation in this series is also good. The characters can do funny faces and they are not using too much simple drawings in these moments. It is exactly how I like it.

Manga X anime

Story is adapted even better than I thought. It is more believable. For example the key moment between Moritaka and Miho was great animated and directed. I mean, when I was reading manga, this moment was too much crazy and unrealistic. But here in anime, I almost believe, that this kind of crazy situation can happen.

Bonus point has anime also for animated opening from Super Hero Legends. When I was reading manga, I was wondering, how it will look like animated and now they did it :-) I would like to see all mangas from this story animated. They all have so interesting stories... 

Some people also mentioned that they don’t like OP of this anime. I don't like it too. It is too slow. It is almost like it would be ending. And ending of this anime is on other hand quite dynamic...  But in this anime is everything nontypical. So, I am thinking, that maybe they switched them intentionally.

Critical moments...

Overall, I am satisfied with this anime. Story was adapted perfectly.  So, I am giving 9/10.

This is first anime of this season what I have seen. And I am so excited. This anime is freaking awesome!!! There is exactly the kind of humor, what I love. I was laughing almost all the time.

Who don't know, main character is Taro Sado and he is a masochist :-)  But he felt in love with mysterious girl called "princess" and he wants to be cured because of her. According advice of his best friend Tatsukichi, he decided to go to the Voluntary Club for a cure. Leader of this club is Mio Isurugi and she is also weird. She thinks, that she is a God.  And as a God, she promised to him, she will guaranty his wish. In other words, she hits him almost all the time. You can imagine how funny situation can be, when Taro is enjoying being tortured by her :-D :-D 

And the other characters are also very interesting. But we don't know much about them yet. For example Arashiko Yuno.She is second member of Voluntary Club. She is shy and she hates  man, especially masochists so much, that she would rather die, than touch them. I can't wait what will be her secret :-) And the bishi manger in the Taro's part-time job is also interesting. I wonder what kind of weird hobby he will have. Yes, this anime is so promising...

For example my "love" on the first look was Tatsukichi. I have weakness for the guys with blond hair. And he is so cute... But there was something wrong with him. He looke like womanizer. But I was thinking this would be too simple. So second idea was: he will be cross-dresser! And it would be funny when he would be that mysterious "princess". No, no it cannot be possible. Every anime of this kind has to have untouchable pure princess. But hell yes!! He was that princess!! :-D OMG. I was thinking, that I will die, because of laughing.

So, I agree, sometimes this first episode was little bit predictable, but not too much. It was good entrance for main characters. Animation also is not bad and character design is very good, I think. The boys are really bishi, I am satisfied :-) And all characters are enough unique for easy remembering.

So my ranking after first episode is 8/10 and I hope that the next episodes will be even better. I don't wanna be disappointed.

Anime season Fall 2010

New anime season Fall 2010 begins in these days and I decided to begin write about it.

I wonder, how long I will continue with writing this blog, but I just need to share my thoughts about all what I see. Please forgive me mistakes in writing and etc. English is not my native language and I still have problems with grammar.
